Re-grade Policy

Examination answers cannot be re-graded once UBE scores have been released.

Timing of Notification of Exam Results

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, notification of bar examination results will be posted to applicants' secure portal account approximately five weeks after the administration of the examination.

Timing for Issuance of Licenses

Upon the Board’s completion of the investigation of your application, if you have met all requirements for licensure, you will be issued a license to practice law in North Carolina. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, licenses will be issued to those applicants who have met all requirements for licensure approximately four weeks after notification of their Bar Exam results.
